Captain's Report

New concrete road from greenkeepers shed

I would like to inform all members that from Monday 14th September we will be constructing a new concrete road out from the greenkeepers shed adjacent to the 13th tee. During construction there will be disruption around the 12th and 13th holes. Players will not be able to walk to the 13th tee the normal way and will have to walk back towards the 13th public tee. The board feels it would be extremely dangerous......

Be Ready to Play

One of the best ways to not delay play is to be "Ready to Play".

You should be ready to tee off as soon as it is  your turn to play. When on or near the putting green, leave your bags or carts just off the green on the way to the next tee. When the play of a hole has been completed, leave the putting green quickly.

Course Update

As noted in the Captain's Report, Spring renovations were completed this week. We were blessed with perfect weather conditions to help produce excellent results. First cut of the greens will be early next week at 4.0mm and all going well the cutting height will be back down to our normal mowing height of 3.0mm by Friday.

Fairway and surrounds aeration/coring was also carried out with only minor surface disruption, a fertiliser application will be carried out in the coming weeks to promote strong healthy growth.

This all works towards ensuring we continue to have well-maintained golf greens and we thank those who are repairing divots and pitch marks when they can.
