Championship Wrap Up

The final major of the year has been run and won. To all that were there you would have seen some great golf in all grades and a great effort by all involved. For all the winners of the Men's and Women's click on the link below for full details.

While walking around I saw a lot of birdies by a lot of the top players.  Luke Cincotta holed a 5 metre putt on the last and Michael Hopper had to hole his 2 footer to win the championship and 'He Did'.  There was a playoff in B grade which was worth watching with a 4 metre putt on the final sudden death hole.  The Women's was won by Madison Woodley who played with no fingernail on 1 finger.  A great effort by everyone.
Going forward we now we have Hams and Turkey days coming up so get your partner and teams sorted.  This year is a 5 man Turkey day off the first tee all day starting from 6.30am.
Then we can all start to relax and enjoy the Club Person of the Year Christmas Dinner and drinks to wrap up the year.

Thanks for a great year
Greg Sheaves. 'Kak'
Director.

For the Love of Golf and each other

This Sunday is our Couples Cup Competition.  As you may recall this used to be run as a Husband and Wife event.  In recognition of the many relationships out there, we have included in recent years, the ability for de-facto and same sex couples to enter the competition also.  Good luck to all the couples entered may your Golf be strong and your relationship even stronger !!
