Weekly Course Update
For the middle of winter, the course is holding up nicely and looking fantastic, sure the tees are heavily divoted but that’s normal on a high usage course. The fairways received a liquid fertilise this week and has certainly put a lot of colour into the turf and provided excellent fairway definition.
We have commenced work to straighten the 4th tee retaining wall which had a very bad lean, considering the wall was built some 20 years ago I guess it was expected at some stage. New posts will be installed, new drainage pipe placed on the inside of the wall then backfilled, new capping along the full length of the wall and turf replaced.
