Director’s Welcome
Hello all and welcome back from hopefully a great holiday break and a busy start to the New Year. This is my first update with the 19th news being also new to the Board for 6 months….. Wow it has opened my eyes up to what happens in the club house, golf course and the board room. Your Board members are all heading in the same direction and putting in an amazing amount of effort. The members draw is working well, kicking off again this Friday night at $600 with many members supporting this, so be in the Club to WIN. The Friday night meat raffle is always popular and will be commencing again on Friday the 31st of January.
We would love more members to stay back after their rounds and have a couple of ales or lunch and make the most of our Club’s wonderful facilities and the company of their fellow golfers. It’s been great to see some of our later players stay back for presentation and bring the family along to stay for dinner, a great idea for us all coming back for presentation.
To start of the golf year we have North Ryde Junior Cup on Thursday 16 and North Ryde Amateur Cup on Saturday the 18th. For our non-playing members see link to entry forms for both these events on our website home page www.northrydegolfclub.com.au. Major Pennants are starting in February so come on out and watch some of our best players, they would love your support.
