Your Committee wishes to remind Members that we encourage you to invite visitors.  The more the merrier.  There is no necessity to seek permission from a Committee member beforehand, however it is essential that you are aware that your guest is a current playing member of a bona fide GA recognised golf club and has a GA Handicap.  Should you find that the Sheet is already full, please contact either Charles Titmuss or myself who will arrange for the Pro Shop to add an extra line to the Sheet.

We wish to remind Members that for a visitor to receive a prize, there are two conditions which apply not only to the Vets, but to all competitions within the Club.  They are:-

1.     They must be a member of a bona fide golf club.  Online clubs such as Qantas GC or Aussie Golfer are unacceptable. Those Golfers who join clubs such as Howlong down on the Murray River, can play but are unable to win a prize.

2.     They must have played 6 competition games at their home golf club in the last 12 months. 

Please remember these conditions and make your guest aware.  We do not wish for any Member or the Club to be embarrassed due to the guest not having had such conditions explained to him.

Our next game is 24th February and we hope that the weather is kind to us however, even though we were washed out a fortnight ago, I’m sure no one is complaining.  Most of the fires are now out, Warragamba Dam is now at 80% capacity and our dams are full.  What more could you ask for?  Well, for me there is one extra thing, and that is to play to my handicap!!
