VWGA NSW Championships: The VWGA of NSW played their Championships at North Ryde on the Monday, 19 September. North Ryde entered 39 Ladies in the field of 72. Congratulations to the following North Ryde winners:
Helen Lee was runner-up in Division 1 of the Championships.
Eve Sheppard won Bronze 2 with Chris Fisher as runner-up.
Jenny Fischer won the Armstrong Trophy in Division 4.
Betty Severino won the Senior Veterans Trophy.
Veterans’ Invitation Day: Our Veterans’ Invitation Day was held on Thursday, 22 September, the ladies played a Waltz Stableford. The weather was fine except for two quick light showers.
Congratulations to the following winners: Patricia Ozard, Pat Phillips, Jan Durham, Betty Severino with 90 points.
Runner-up: Clara Ko, Joanne Pak, Sunny Kwon, Karol Hwang with 83 points.
Home Team: Elizabeth Sung, Anna Mun, Sarah Dale, Jackey Kim with 86 points.
The next VWGA Tournament is at Lakeside Golf Club, Camden on the Monday, 31 October. After that Bayview Golf Club host an event on Monday, 20 February 2023, entry forms are in our folder on the bench in the locker room. Please note the closing dates for the payment of entry fees.
