Coronation Medal: The Coronation Medal is an 18-holes stroke handicap competition for teams of four women on handicaps from plus to 20.0. It is contested over two courses, which are determined by the previous year’s competition. The Medal is awarded to the team with the best-combined aggregate of four nett scores.
This year the team representing North Ryde in the Coronation Medal was Lorraine Taylor, Sue Chim, Elizabeth Sung and Baeky Lee. Lorraine and Sue played at Concord and Elizabeth & Baeky played at Lakeside. The team came in at 7th place out of 38 teams that entered. Congratulations to you all.
Unity Cup – Women’s Friendship Day: On Sunday 11 September the weekday women teamed up with the weekend women in a 2 Ball Friendship Day event. It was a beautiful day and a fiercely contested game with the Overall Winners of the Unity Cup being Elizabeth Sung & Kathleen Coales with 44 c/b. Runners Up were Helen Lee & Misuk Lee also with 44. Congratulations to you all.

Birthday Celebration: We celebrated Beryl Robinsons 80th birthday on Tuesday, with cakes and candles and Beryl celebrated her birthday with a great round of golf to win the day! (40pts)
