Women’s News Friday 14 October

Captains v Presidents:  Congratulations to Barbara and the rest of the Captain’s team who defeated the President’s team this week, Tuesday 11 October. They were far too strong this year but we will be endeavouring to reverse the outcome in 2023.

Melbourne Cup Lunch: Don’t forget to book your tickets for lunch and join in the fun of the day by playing golf and following it with lunch upstairs. The Club will be organising the event with lots of sweeps.

  • $59 pp for 3 courses and a glass of bubbles (excluding green fees)
  • 8am shot gun start and lots of fun prizes e.g. Best dressed team and crazy hats!
  • Golf bookings will be online as usual.
  • Lunch bookings and table allocations through the office.

20 Year Anniversary

“This week” marks the 20th anniversary of NRGC winning the Bronze Medallion. This is a prestigious state wide competition for women whose handicap lies between 20 and 30.

Playing  two women at Liverpool and  two at Pennant Hills golf clubs,  the team of Jan Durham, Una Flanagan, Bronwen Hogan and Beryl Coady  had a combined nett to bring the Bronze Medallion home to North Ryde Golf Club. We honour the outstanding achievement by our members.

Great memories
