Women’s News Friday 21 October

Club Championships

We don’t have enough people wanting to qualify for the Club Championships!  As per the Conditions of Play we need 12 people from each division to play the two Sundays.

I have put the list on the noticeboard and have highlighted those that want to qualify.  Could you please check and make sure that what you have indicated is correct and let me know if you would like to reconsider and play the Sundays.

Reminder maximum score is not allowed in the Club Championships.

Thursday 10 November – Friendly Day North Ryde / Asquith:  On Thursday, 10 November we will be reintroducing a friendly day with Asquith Golf Club Women.  Teams of two from each club will compete against each other in a 2B competition.  There will be no individual competition on the day.  Usual competition fees apply.

There will be a Winner and Runner Up for each club and a ball rundown.

There are sheets in the locker room to put your names down for this fun day.  There are 52 spots available for each club.  So choose your playing partner and get your names down as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out.

Women’s Hams Day – Thursday 8 December

For the first time we will be having a Women’s Hams Day.

  • The format for the day is a 2 Ball + Individual Competition – Cost $30 per person
  • Each player will receive 2 drinks vouchers which can be used at halfway or after the competition.
  • Prizes will include a full ham for the winner of each division and the winner of the 2 Ball with a number of half hams going to the next best scores.

There is a sheet downstairs for this event so please get your names down as soon as possible. Place your $30 in an envelope with your name and Hams Day written on it in the slot in the locker room.
