Season Opening

The new golf year started with a Stableford round and a return to a two-tee start. There were 111 players and some great scores were once again returned.

The women celebrated the beginning of the season by sharing some delicious cake to mark the occasion. It was fantastic to see so many stay for the presentation of the Summer Cup, and to watch old friends spend time together and to celebrate the good golf during the summer. 

Summer Cup

The Summer Cup this year had 7 rounds with an average of 98 players each week. There were some amazing scores recorded each week with the highest score of the competition 43 C/B. 

The winner of the Summer Cup was Jane Youm with 13 points. Runner up was Jennifer Fischer on 10 points. There were five people on 9 points making it a close competition.  Congratulations to all!

Open Day

Open Day is on Tuesday 21 March. This is an invitation day and guests can be invited to play. The event will be an Irish Team Stableford competition with a shotgun start.  The sheets for this will be out shortly in the locker room. 

Representative teams

The Silver II Pennant team will have their first match on Friday 10 February.  They will play Roseville at Pennant Hills. We wish the team good luck.
