Achievements for our amazing Women Members

Silver II Salver Salver Winners, congratulations once again to our unstoppable Silver II team for a season to remember!

Goodwill Plate is a Golf NSW event played in conjunction with Medal Round 2 on Tuesday, 18 March and Sunday, 2 March. After a countback the winner was Kathy Coales with a nett score of 68 and runner up was Susan Chim also on 68.

NSW Bowl is a competition between Weekend and Weekday women.
Week Day winners were Kerry Attenborough & Julie Ogilvie with a score of 50. 
Weekend winners Sue Mezger & Kathy Coales with a score of 47. Over all winners were Kerry Attenborough & Julie Ogilvie whose names will be submitted for ranking with Golf NSW.

North Ryde Salveris a Nett Event and the winner was Clare Kim with a daily handicap of 16 and a score of nett 67.  Runner Up was Susan Kim, daily handicap 24 with a nett score of 71.

Macquarie Bowlis a Scratch Event and the winner was Morag Irons off a daily handicap of 9 with a score of 86.  Runner Up was Pauline Beckton from Northbridge Golf Club off a daily handicap of 13 with a score of 88.

Autumn Plateis a Stableford Event and the winner was Heidi Brown with a daily handicap of 36 and a score of 33. Runner Up was Donna Linnegar with a daily handicap of 36 and a score of 30.

Upcoming Events

Thursday, 17 April – Singles Knockout final will be played between Ann Kim and Eve Sheppard. Good luck to these members.

Tuesday, 29 April – Medal Round 3 Rene Proudford Salver, Gold Brooch Round 1 and Veterans Challenge Brooch. Book in online in your Division.                                                                   

Friday, 2 May – Bronze III Salver Host Day

Thursday, May 8 Foursomes Knockout Qualifying Round. Alternate shots, playing in pairs, perhaps organise a partner. Top 16 teams with lowest nett scores to continue to Round 1 the following week.

Tuesday, 13 May – The Biggest Morning Teafor the Cancer Council – The cake stall will be in the Halfway Bar, so too will presentation for that day. Your contributions of cakes, slices, cupcakes, biscuits, jams and preserves would be gratefully appreciated. Please list the ingredients. You can bring your delicious goods to the stall any time during the day.

Weekend Report

A great game by our Sunday Pennants competition at Ryde Parramatta on Sunday, 23 March. The team from left to right consisted of Fiona Montgomery, Kerrie Hinde, Di Bear, Karen Psaltis and Angela Café. The match was against a team from  Pennant Hills with the final result all square.
