Dual Head Professionals: This year has been quite a big one and looking forward to more big things to come. A new partnership has started within the Proshop, as Alex Emmerson and Marty Lyne have joined together as Head Professionals to service our Members with the best, service, knowledge, product and the best prices.
Alex took up the game of golf at the age of 12 with aspirations to make something of it. After years of playing elite amateur golf, he turned professional and then begun his traineeship, beginning at his home club of North Ryde in which he then completed at Avondale, learning new skills and network building. He always had a passion for business and coaching, completing his advance PGA coaching accreditations to get the best out of all players of all abilities.
When Alex first began his traineeship he was asked “what do you see yourself achieving from the PGA traineeship” His reply was and always has been “to use my passion of the game of golf to help any player and hopefully become Head Professional of my own Proshop”.
At the ripe age of 32, teaming up with Marty who has 40+ years of experience, Alex and Marty will be sharing new information/technology mixed in with years of valuable experience to get the best out of each other keeping the Proshop at its high standard and grow the game even further.
