Weekly Course Update
Its been a very productive couple of weeks with a number of important maintenance jobs completed, the first being the straightening of the 4th tee retaining wall which was carried out for minimal cost and disruption.
The Photinia hedge at the 2nd tee required a very hard cut back with a huge amount of timber removed, wood chip has been placed around this area and new turf will be laid along both sides in the coming weeks.
With the green’s renovations occurring on 2nd September soil samples have been taken from 9 greens and sent away to be analysed and reported on, fertiliser amendments to correct any deficiencies will applied at renovation time.
